Repair Service
Service Overview:
- Our bicycle mechanic services encompass the collection, repair, and return of bicycles to the customer's designated location.
- Skilled bicycle mechanics are provided for repairs, maintenance, and assembly services, subject to availability and variations based on location and service demand.
Service Requests:
- Customers can initiate service requests through our website or by contacting customer service.
- Accurate and detailed information about the bicycle, required service, and pickup/delivery location must be provided by customers.
- We reserve the right to decline service requests if they exceed our capabilities or violate applicable laws/regulations.
- We will happily service E-Bikes, however will only service branded E-Bikes and branded motors. Bicycles converted to E-Bikes by the use of after market kits will NOT be serviced by Faneroque Mechanic.
Pricing and Payment:
- Service charges and fees are transparently stated on our website, with additional charges for necessary parts.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate bicycle information for precise cost estimates.
- Online payment through our designated gateway or agreed-upon methods is accepted.
- Payments must be made in full and in the agreed currency.
- Payment of invoices is required on the day of completion, or on/before delivery to the customer.
- If payment is not met, the mechanic may hold your bike until such a time as the payment is processed.
- Bikes held due to lack of payment will be held for a maximum of 90 days, at which point they will be disposed of.
- Mechanic reserves the right to charge a Call Out Fee at the discretion of the mechanic on site, if the customer declines to go ahead with booked work. The Call Out Fee has the value of 40€ and is visible and explained in our price list.
Pickup and Delivery:
- Pickup and delivery time slots are arranged based on customer availability.
- Customers must ensure bicycle accessibility during the agreed-upon time slot.
- Additional charges may apply for rescheduling if the customer is unavailable during the designated time.
- We are not liable for bicycle loss, damage, or theft during pickup or delivery, except in cases of our negligence.
- Bikes held for Pick-up & Drop-off servicing will be returned to customers as soon as possible, and at an agreed upon time.
- Bikes held for Pick-up & Drop-off servicing where a return time cannot be agreed upon, or payment is not made, will be held for a maximum of 90 days, at which point they will be disposed of.
Repair and Maintenance:
- Mechanics perform repairs and maintenance per customer requests and professional judgment.
- Less complicated procedures can be performed on client premises depending on time and parts availability, mechanic will carry out all work with the minimum disruption to the customer in the mobile workshop.
- Efforts are made to complete services within the agreed-upon time frame, but unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.
- Customer approval is sought before proceeding with additional repairs or parts.
- A warranty for repair and maintenance services is provided, with details shared upon service completion.
- If your bicycle is in a dirty condition there may be a cleaning charge of 20€ to allow for closer inspection of the frame and components.
Liability:
- While we aim for high-quality services, we are not responsible for damage or loss resulting from customer use post-service.
- We disclaim liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages related to service use.
- Our liability for direct damages arising from services is limited to the amount paid by the customer.
Termination:
- We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if customer requests or actions are deemed unlawful, fraudulent, or pose a risk to personnel or equipment.
- Either party can terminate the service agreement by providing written notice to the other party.
Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
